Did you ask who that picture was of on the site? If you did, you must be that damnable polar bear that keeps popping in and out of the offices closest to Mr. Thompson's ghost: please rid yourself of the property before Hunter shoots you once again.

The Hunter S. Thompson Foundation is a Non-Profit Organization dedicated to the remembrance and honoring of the late freelance writer, Hunter S. Thompson, author of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Better Than Sex: Confessions of a Political Junkie, and The Rum Diary.
Many may remember the infamous portrait of a drug-abusing stoner, speeding down the Las Vegas deserts in a convertable with a cigarette holder stammering his speech played by Johnny Depp though few knew the real Hunter S. Thompson. Hunter had been more a proponant of change and focalization on hot topics than he had been a drug supporter: his was a way to a means rather than a means to an end and so shall it be remembered and memorialized everytime someone sees a Petoyte plant, a cannon or fireworks: his last wish was that his cremains be fired from a cannon containing fireworks that would sit atop an almost 150 foot high rig decorated to look like two thumbs holding a mescaline tab.
Needless to say, this man marched to the beat of a different drummer.
